The Borkumriff was expertly refitted in the UK to meet the current owner’s desire for a spacious, open-plan family cruiser.    The yacht now boasts a large aft master cabin with a double and single berth, along with an en-suite head and shower. The second cabin, located in the forecastle, offers three berths. Adjacent to this is another head and shower to port. Opposite, you’ll find a roomy open-plan galley equipped with elegant teak worktops and cabinetry.
Step into sophistication with English oak joinery in the saloon and American oak in the aft cabin. Teak floorboards grace the yacht throughout, providing a smooth and warm feel underfoot.
This yacht isn’t just about style—it’s a seasoned traveler. She’s explored the Caribbean, the USA’s east coast, the UK, and the Mediterranean

And let’s not forget her commendable performance in the Arch Race!!!

Over the last few years, she has been expertly recaulked using Organic Oakum from keel to waterline. Additionally, refastening was carried out from the garboard plank forward to the deadwood area.
(All removed fastenings are available, with only one showing partial wear.)

Very extensive list of works undertaken in the past years is available upon request.

The Bültjer Bootswerft has been a cornerstone of maritime craftsmanship since the early 19th century, beginning with the construction of small boats for Dollart fishermen. Hinderk Gerjets Bültjer, a master wheelwright, expanded the family tradition by producing wagon wheels and boats in Ditzum after moving there in 1899. His sons, Gerjet and Jan, inherited the craft and continued the legacy, building fishing vessels to meet high demand.

The shipyard has consistently adapted, evolving from fishing boats to luxury yachts, while maintaining a reputation for quality. Modern facilities now support diverse operations, including the conversion of commercial vehicles into recreational ones and the construction of new sailing yachts. The family-owned business is poised for continued success with the fifth generation taking the helm, ensuring the Bültjer legacy thrives into the future.
