After graduation I worked in ports as a terminal manager, then moved into the yachting industry as a sales manager and now I working as a yacht broker. In my experience I have established contacts with major Italian yacht builders and many companies in the industry.

In 1990, I seized an amazing opportunity that brought me to Bodrum, Turkey, where I assumed a managerial role at a leading yacht brokerage firm. I skillfully managed the charter operations, while also actively contributing to boat building and brokerage activities during the winter months. Driven by my passion for the industry, I teamed up with a colleague to secure the franchise for a prestigious real estate company that was new to the yachting scene. Our successful partnership propelled us to further expand our horizons by taking on a highly sought-after franchise based in Monaco. With our unwavering dedication, we held this franchise until it was acquired by a large US-based group. Now, I eagerly anticipate a prosperous future with Globe Regal Group, where I proudly represent them in the Eastern Mediterranean. Together, we will continue to make waves and achieve remarkable success in the industry.

A seasoned professional in the yachting industry, Paul Madden was the former American representative for Blohm+Voss (Hamburg), where he played a pivotal role in securing the contract for the construction of the magnificent 92-meter MAYAN QUEEN, designed by Heywood/Disdale.

His esteemed clients have proudly owned remarkable vessels such as the iconic 180’ classic yacht Stargazer, previously owned by the legendary Henry Ford II, and the impressive 141’ expedition yacht MARCATO. His expertise extends to overseeing the acquisition and transformation of notable vessels including the 303’ ex-NOAA ship SAHARA, the 171’ ex-NOAA research ship Ocean Starr, and the 204′ Ulstein OSV Ocean Tay, among others. In 2022, and in perfect harmony with his team, he orchestrated the acquisition of a 47-meter Sanlorenzo expedition yacht for an American owner.
