Originally built in the Netherlands in 1966 by Vuyk, the 69.65 m motor yacht is powered by a Caterpillar diesel engine, achieving a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. She has a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. SHERAKHAN features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and cork decks, with a beam of 12.05 m and a gross tonnage of 1,945 GT.
Her exterior and conversion were executed by Verkerk Yachting Projects, with naval architecture by KMC & KHMB and KNSM Bouwbureau. Interior design was completed by Rijntjes Interior Design. Originally a Dutch training vessel, she was transformed into a luxury yacht in 2006.
SHERAKHAN accommodates up to 26 guests in 13 suites, including a full‑beam master suite with a private study, two VIP cabins, four double cabins, and six twin cabins. The yacht also carries a crew of 19 to ensure exceptional service.
Onboard amenities include a full spa, sauna, gym, and deck jacuzzi, along with Wi‑Fi and full air‑conditioning for comfort. Her full‑displacement steel hull enhances stability at anchor, further supported by at‑anchor stabilizers.
