JOHN THORNYCROFT SHIPYARD
AMAZONE\ Former Names: Welsh Passion, My Evangeline, Welsh Liberty
Amazone is a classic 39.62‑metre motor yacht, comparable in pedigree to the renowned Blue Bird. Originally built by J. I. Thornycroft & Co. Ltd. in 1936, she was recently recovered from the Seine and transferred to Pendennis Shipyard, where initial restoration work is underway. Preliminary design studies outline her accommodation potential and interior direction, while technical planning for a full restoration—estimated at 30 months—is well advanced. The project is offered POA.
