78m Lürssen Superyacht Rocinante Listed for Sale
The 78.4‑metre Lürssen motor yacht Rocinante ex TV and MADSUMMER has been listed for sale. Delivered in 2008, the yacht was built in steel and aluminium with exterior design by Espen Oeino International and interiors by Alberto Pinto.
Rocinante completed a comprehensive 10‑month refit in 2024, including a new bridge, full repaint and major technical and guest-area upgrades. The yacht has received consistent maintenance under current ownership since 2017, including both the 10‑ and 15‑year surveys.
With a volume of 2,334GT and a 13.5‑metre beam, the interior features a contemporary design and abundant natural light. Accommodation is provided for 14 guests in seven cabins, including four VIP suites and a spacious owner’s suite with an office, dual dressing rooms, en suites, and a private deck with jacuzzi. An adjacent onboard hospital can be converted into an additional guest cabin if required. The yacht also carries three staff in two cabins and up to 25 crew in 12 cabins, plus a captain’s cabin.
Indoor–outdoor living is a central theme, highlighted by the upper deck’s circular dining area with opening windows and a connected saloon. Additional amenities include a cinema, gym with fold‑down balcony, hammam, massage room, beauty salon, and a sundeck with a jet‑stream pool and jacuzzi. An elevator serves all decks.
The yacht is equipped with a helideck capable of supporting an EC135 with refuelling. Twin 2,682hp Caterpillar engines deliver a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles at cruising speed.
Rocinante is offered at €88,500,000 and is currently located in Rybovich, West Palm Beach, undergoing warranty and maintenance work.
