The aim of the SP110 project for Sanlorenzo is to write a new success story in yachting and enter the world of sports yachts with a yacht that breaks the mould. SP110 represents an advanced technological patform that combines innovation and sustainability with a design that favours maximum comfort. A project made possible by the collaboration of a team of professionals at the highest levels in individual skills: Bernardo Zuccon for the exteriors, Tilli Antonelli at Sanlorenzo product development, Marco Arnaboldi for the hull design, Piero Lissoni for the interiors.
Introducing the SP110, the first yacht in the “Smart Performance” range, designed with an ambitious goal: to deliver top-notch performance while maximizing energy efficiency. Its fractional propulsion system features three compact engines that boast an impressive weight-to-power ratio. Depending on your needs and the conditions at sea, you can operate on one, two, or all three engines, providing flexibility, reducing consumption, and adjusting autonomy based on your desired speed.
At the heart of the SP110’s design is its hull, crafted by Marco Arnaboldi and optimized for hydrojet propulsion. This innovative system offers advantages over traditional propellers, as it is less affected by variations in weight, making it more versatile. The carefully studied water lines yield a remarkably efficient hull that spans over 8 meters in width and measures 33 meters in length. Its double-edged flank provides the perfect balance between buoyancy—ensuring high performance and comfort even in choppy waters—and ample surface area for outdoor and indoor enjoyment.
To enhance performance and efficiency, we’ve implemented several weight-saving solutions. For instance, the large windows, made from laminated glass, cover nearly 80% of the yacht’s exterior. These windows not only harmonize with the hull’s color but also flood the interior with natural light.
The exterior design, crafted by Zuccon International Project, reflects extensive research to establish a signature style for this new range while honoring Sanlorenzo’s heritage. The fresh shapes, sleek proportions, and aerodynamic lines, along with a modern color palette reminiscent of sports yachts, embody the yacht’s dynamic character and emotional appeal.
