Empire is a 26.1-meter motor yacht, crafted in Italy by Cantiere delle Marche and delivered in 2024 as one of just six Darwin 86 models. With a top speed of 11.5 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots, she boasts an impressive 7,000-nautical-mile range at 8.5 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines. Empire comfortably welcomes up to eight guests across four staterooms, attended by a dedicated crew of two.
Designed by Hydro Tec and built to CdM’s renowned standards, Empire is engineered for adventure—her reinforced hull, ‘ice belt,’ and bulletproof steel plates make her ready for high-latitude voyages and remote destinations. A unique fourth pilot station in the engine room adds an extra layer of capability.
Step inside to interiors by Alessandro Massari, where understated elegance meets comfort. Custom furnishings blend seamlessly with pieces from Poltrona Frau and Poliform, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The full-beam owner’s stateroom sits amidships on the lower deck, flanked by two twin cabins with pullman beds and a forward VIP suite for privacy and style.
Crew accommodations for four are thoughtfully placed forward on the main deck, complete with a spacious mess and direct access to the wheelhouse above for seamless operations. Social life centers around the main deck’s indoor-outdoor lounge and dining areas, highlighted by a cozy bar and a fully equipped galley.
Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the upper deck’s well-equipped gym, which doubles as a lounge and opens onto a stylish aft terrace. The wheelhouse features advanced Boening control systems for effortless navigation. Up top, the sun deck invites guests to relax on sunbeds and enjoy open-air views.
Measuring 26.3 meters, Empire is compact yet robust, powered by twin Scania engines and supported by three Northern Light generators for a total of 155 kW. Energy efficiency comes courtesy of sodium-lithium chloride batteries, while a state-of-the-art anti-intrusion system ensures peace of mind.
