Fiddlers Dream was commissioned by her original English owner and cruised Florida and the Bahamas for two years. She was subsequently shipped to Europe, based in Cannes, and is now located in Malta. The yacht has continuously maintained her MCA class and is equipped for worldwide cruising, including an ASEA 60–50 Hz transformer.
Built and certified to Germanischer Lloyd specifications, the yacht has been professionally maintained throughout her ownership. The underwater surfaces are protected with Coppercoat. Much of the interior cabinetry was custom-built by Design Unlimited (UK), and she is widely regarded as one of the most elegant yachts available under 120 feet.

Visibility from the raised pilothouse is excellent, providing clear sightlines in all directions. The full-beam master stateroom is located amidships, directly below the pilothouse. Twin 1,015 hp CAT engines deliver efficient cruising at approximately 8 knots with consumption of about 1 gallon per nautical mile, and a maximum speed of nearly 19 knots. Typical high-speed cruising is 16–17 knots, depending on load.
Fuel capacity is 3,000 gallons, providing a range of 3,000+ miles at trawler speeds. Accommodation includes four staterooms for owners and guests and three full heads. Fiddlers Dream was also built with dedicated crew quarters aft for a captain and mate, accessible without entering the salon.
