BLOHM & VOSS
- Previous Names: Golden Odyssey, Golden Odyssey II
The 80‑meter superyacht Grand Ocean is currently undergoing an extensive exterior and interior refit at MIRA Yachts. The project includes a 5.5‑meter extension to the aft section, increasing the vessel’s overall length to 85.5 meters. All decks are being expanded, and an additional deck has been added to improve onboard space and functionality. A touch‑and‑go helipad has also been reinstated on the sundeck.
This refit follows a 2017 interior renovation that introduced a main‑deck dressing room and updated all carpets and upholstery. The 2025 program will further enhance guest and owner spaces, including relocating the master cabin to the upper‑deck bow, where it will feature a private terrace and pool. The main swimming pool is being repositioned for improved sun exposure, and all exterior areas are being enlarged. Interior and exterior furnishings are being fully customized to achieve a refined and contemporary aesthetic. Throughout the project, the timeless design language of Blohm & Voss remains central, ensuring a seamless blend of classic elegance and modern functionality.
Originally delivered by Blohm & Voss in 1990 as Golden Odyssey II, Grand Ocean features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.\ Full specifications and photography are available upon request for qualified buyers.
