Performance, Engines and Tankage
“KIA ORA” is powered by twin MTU 12V2000 M72 diesel engines, each delivering 1,469 HP, with 2,018 hours recorded as of June 2026. She offers a maximum speed of 16 knots and a refined cruising speed of 11 knots, balancing confident performance with relaxed, efficient passage-making.
Her substantial cruising capability is supported by fuel capacity of 34,200 litres, fresh water capacity of 5,000 litres, and holding tank capacity of 3,000 litres.
Power generation is provided by twin Kohler 80kW generators, showing 3,768 and 3,564 hours respectively as of June 2026.
