HEESEN
The 44,4m Heesen, KIJO, delivered in 2003 by the renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen, is an all-aluminium yacht crafted in collaboration with acclaimed designer Terence Disdale, who also created her elegant interiors. In 2023, Kijo underwent extensive upgrades, including zero-hour engine rebuilds, refurbished generators, and a completed 20-year class survey, ensuring she is in top condition.
Accommodating twelve guests in five cabins, Kijo features a full-beam master suite with a private office and a luxurious his-and-hers bathroom with both a bathtub and shower. Two additional double cabins and two twins, each with ensuite showers, provide comfort for guests, while eight crew members are discreetly housed to ensure seamless service.
The main deck boasts an open-plan lounge, dining area, and a curved bar, complemented by an entertainment centre to starboard—perfect for socialising. Upstairs, the top deck invites relaxation with a Jacuzzi and sunpad offering panoramic views, while the aft main deck provides a sheltered spot for al fresco dining, whether underway or at anchor.
Twin staircases lead to the swimming platform, the perfect launchpad for water toys and sports straight from the garage.
With a striking navy-blue semi-displacement hull, Kijo cruises comfortably at 17 knots and reaches a top speed of 25 knots. At 12 knots, her twin MTU engines deliver an impressive 2,100-nautical-mile range—blending performance, style, and adventure for discerning yacht buyers and charterers alike.
