Midnight Sun is a classic motor yacht by Camper & Nicholsons, celebrated for her enduring authenticity. Launched in 1962 and cherished by the same family for 56 years, she has maintained her Lloyd’s classification throughout her life—a testament to meticulous care.
This 31-metre canoe-sterned yacht is a standout from Camper & Nicholsons’ ‘Destiny’ class, built between 1960 and 1964. As one of the first large post-war motor yachts from their Southampton yard, Midnight Sun represents a significant chapter in maritime history.
Below deck, she accommodates six guests in four cabins: a full-beam suite with twin beds, a guest twin, and two singles. A former observation room has been transformed into a double cabin with direct sun deck access. The yacht’s interior remains true to its 1960s origins, offering a rare glimpse into classic yachting style.
Midnight Sun retains her original 8L3B Gardner engines, delivering impressive fuel efficiency and a transatlantic range. She stands out as one of the last classic canoe-sterned motor yachts of her pedigree available today, beautifully preserved in her original splendor.
