ROYAL HUISMAN
The 58.2-metre Royal Huisman sailing yacht Ngoni is back on the market!
Delivered in 2017, Ngoni is a remarkable creation from the renowned Dutch yard Royal Huisman, with exterior and naval architecture by the legendary Ed Dubois. As his last superyacht design, Ngoni boasts a pedigree that speaks for itself.
Recognized as one of the most innovative sailing yachts ever built, Ngoni is affectionately nicknamed “The Beast.” Her owner challenged the designers, insisting on an edgy and powerful vessel, stating, “Don’t build me a wolf in sheep’s clothing.” This directive led to a yacht that is fast and fierce.
Step inside to experience Ngoni’s modern, organic interiors, crafted by British designer Rick Baker. The interior features custom elements from Zijlstra and Cools Upholstery, including furniture, wall panels, and unique finishes by Officina Coppola, an English company specializing in resin and metal art.
The spacious deck saloon offers informal seating, a pop-up TV, formal dining, and a comfortable bar—all designed for maximum visibility and relaxation.
After a 2024 refit, Ngoni now accommodates eight guests in four en suite cabins, including a luxurious master suite, along with a single berth sofa bed in the owner’s office. The yacht can also host nine crew members across six cabins, each with en suite bathrooms.
Ngoni’s performance is powered by a 71-metre carbon sloop rig—one of the largest single-piece spars crafted by Rondal—paired with a state-of-the-art North Sails square-top mainsail. Her sleek exterior is all about performance and aerodynamic efficiency.
With a focus on a light yet responsive helm, steering Ngoni feels authentic and exhilarating. The Dubois office designed an exceptional custom boom, extending nearly four meters to enhance the yacht’s striking profile.
The hull features a captivating reverse sheer from the bow, transitioning to a gentle concave sheer toward the stern, culminating in an elegantly rounded plumb bow. The innovative full-glass deckhouse boasts dramatic curves, while the interior is adorned with stunning artwork, bespoke furnishings, and exotic finishes.
Beneath her flush deck lies a treasure trove of features: a spacious foredeck tender garage for a 5.6-metre jet tender, a dedicated launch crane, an all-carbon Jacuzzi, and a fold-out boarding platform that transforms into a beach.
One of Ngoni’s standout features is her elegant beach deck, complete with a sweeping staircase descending to sea level and a sculpted teak horseshoe sunlounging area—ideal for soaking up the sun after a day of adventure.
Powered by an MTU 8V2000M72 engine, this 296GT yacht has a top speed of 17 knots.
Ngoni is now available for €38,500,000 ex VAT. Don’t miss your chance to own this extraordinary vessel!
