Canados 143 tri-deck

Introducing the Oceanic 143′ by Canados

The Oceanic Yachts range by Canados was born from our close interactions with customers and our constant monitoring of the global yacht market’s evolution. Owners today are looking for vessels that offer long-range capabilities, extreme flexibility, and low operating costs—all without sacrificing performance. Enter the Oceanic 143’.

Key Features:

  • Extended Outdoor Living Spaces: Relax and entertain with expansive areas designed for comfort.
  • Generous Interior Volumes: Enjoy spacious interiors that redefine luxury on the water.
  • Capacity for Large Toys and Tenders: Bring along all your favorite aquatic accessories.
  • High Performance: Experience top-notch performance in all conditions.
  • Whisper-Quiet Operation: Revel in the lowest possible sound levels.
  • Economic Cruising: Sail at economic speeds with reduced fuel consumption.
  • Low Operating and Maintenance Costs: Keep costs down without compromising quality.

To achieve these goals, we rethought the fundamentals of a modern yacht. The time has come to embrace new technologies and revolutionary naval architecture. The 143′ Oceanic features our “Displanning” hull concept, delivering the best of both worlds: displacement at speeds between 7 and 15 knots and planning up to 26 knots.

Anyone who takes the Oceanic 143’ for a sea trial will be amazed by the silence, the total absence of vibrations, and the exceptional performance. Experience it for yourself and discover why the Oceanic 143’ is a game-changer in luxury yachting.

Revolutionizing Yacht Design: The Oceanic Hull

Engineering this new breed of hulls was no small feat. The yacht needed to perform impeccably, offering A+ stability at any speed, a shallow draft, long range, and the utmost comfort both at anchor and underway. And let’s not forget, it had to be perfectly balanced despite the superstructure’s forward mass and the expansive 15-meter (50’) aft deck.

While individual solutions existed for these demands, no shipyard had ever succeeded in combining them all into one cohesive package. Until now.

Thanks to weeks of rigorous tank testing, naval architects Giovanni Senatore and G. Arrabito have achieved what was once thought impossible. Their groundbreaking design features:

  • A double-stepped hull: Reduces buoyancy aft to stabilize the yacht at anchor and low speeds.
  • Extended bulbous bow: Lengthens the running surfaces by about 3 meters, cutting fuel consumption and eliminating pitching at displacement speeds.
  • Innovative keel: Runs from the bulb to midship, enhancing heading stability and countering potential roll due to the superstructure’s height.
  • Tunnel drive transmission: Decreases the draft and increases water density at the propellers, effective from 15-20 knots.

The Oceanic’s technical innovations extend beyond architecture into construction technology. The E-Glass hull offers four times the impact resistance of a steel hull, eliminating corrosion and electrolysis issues while significantly reducing maintenance costs. The superstructure, made of Kevlar/Aramat, reduces weight and lowers the center of gravity.

In summary, the Oceanic represents a revolutionary leap in yacht design, marrying performance, efficiency, and comfort in one exceptional package.

Oceanic 143′ – Unveiling a New Era in Yachting Excellence

Power and Performance

With triple Caterpillar C32 B Series engines, each boasting 2400 hp and a 32-liter capacity, the Oceanic 143′ delivers astonishing torque from low rpm. Featuring tunnel transmissions, the engine room is strategically placed far aft in the hull. This innovative layout separates the engine room from the lower deck cabins with three structural bulkheads, ensuring an impressively low sound level at any speed by containing potential mechanical noises at the rear.

Intelligent Design

Positioning the engine room aft isn’t just about maintaining peace and quiet. It’s a technical decision to balance the volume of the superstructure, which extends forward. Step onboard, and you’ll be amazed by the expansive 130 square meter aft deck, featuring five social areas and the largest dining table you’ve ever seen on a yacht of this size.

Luxurious Accommodations

The Oceanic 143′ is designed to accommodate family, friends, and guests in complete privacy. The sundeck is not just about luxury; it’s about practicality too. With wing stations for safer port maneuvers, it also boasts an oversized Hammam for six adults, a bar, sofas, loungers, and a fore-facing sun pad protected by a wing-shaped hard top.

Adventure-Ready

Behind the transom door lies an air-conditioned gym, convertible into a garage. This space is versatile enough to store all sorts of toys, including two electric cars, which can be deployed using hydraulic lifts and a “transformer” platform. The centrally located tender bay accommodates a 6-meter tender and various water toys. Beneath the floor lies the Veem® stabilization gyroscope VG 145 SD, which eliminates roll both at anchor and underway, contributing to a draft of just 2.20 meters at half load.

Dive into the future of yachting with the Oceanic 143’—where luxury meets innovation, and every journey becomes an adventure.
