Silent Cruising, Ultimate Efficiency

Heesen´s hybrid installation delivers silent cruising and flexible power management, pushing energy efficiency to its limits. Built from lightweight aluminium, precision-welded to the highest tolerances by our meticulous in-house team, Orion boasts an ultra-efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form designed by van Oossanen. This smart design allows a compact machinery package to offer optimum propulsion efficiency across all speeds.

Performance Meets Conservation

Powered by two MTU 12V 2000 M61 (IMO III) engines, each with just 600 kW, Orion can reach a top speed of 16.3 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots, it consumes a mere 98 litres per hour, excluding hotel load. Drop down to 10 knots in hybrid mode, and fuel consumption plummets to just 45 litres per hour. These numbers are simply unparalleled for a luxurious 50-metre yacht displacing 295 tons.

Italian designer Cristiano Gatto has crafted a truly unique and contemporary interior design, maximizing bright internal spaces awash with natural light. These spaces offer sweeping views of the surrounding seascape, thanks to open bulwarks that bring the outside in.

The six-stateroom layout is a masterpiece of luxury and functionality. The master suite is perfectly situated on the main deck forward, providing ultimate privacy and panoramic views. On the lower deck, you’ll find a full-beam VIP stateroom, two double staterooms, and two twin staterooms, each designed with the utmost attention to detail.
