The 29m (95.2ft) sloop PATEA, built by Alia Yachts in 2012 and refitted in 2021, is a standout blend of performance, luxury, and innovation. PATEA’s performance is powered by a Southern Spars carbon rig and advanced sail-handling systems, including in-boom mainsail furling and an asymmetric masthead spinnaker. A single 435hp Volvo Penta diesel engine gives her a top speed of 12 knots and a range of 2,200nm at 10 knots. Her 3.7m (12ft) draft fin keel delivers both performance and access to shallow anchorages, while modern, sustainable features include hydraulic and DC motors and solar panels.
