Introducing the Magnificent Sparta: A 67-Metre Heesen Masterpiece
The brand-new 67-metre Heesen motor yacht, Sparta, has hit the market, listed for sale. Fresh off her recent launch, Sparta is the Dutch shipyard’s largest steel yacht to date, boasting exterior and interior designs by Winch Design.
Inspired by the 66-metre Project Avanti concept unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018, Sparta features a sporty, low-profile design. The only major alteration since the initial sketches is the aft deck pool, now extended to 6.5 metres. Noteworthy details include a reverse bow – a Heesen first – thermobonded tinted glass, and Venetian red and anthracite grey accents.
While the interior design remains confidential, each deck is themed around water, earth, and air, connected by an oak staircase and elevator. The earth-themed main saloon highlights dining chairs with real palm leaf upholstery and a large oak trunk coffee table.
Diverging from traditional layouts, Sparta offers two owner’s suites on the bridge deck. The aft suite, inspired by air, features sky blues and mother-of-pearl inlays. The main deck houses additional guest cabins with a movable partition, transforming the forward suites into a full-beam VIP room or a playroom for younger guests.
The lower deck hosts a 65-square-metre Japanese-inspired wellness area, complete with a whirlpool, steam room, sauna, and beauty area. Complementing this luxurious space is a matching custom limo tender, stored behind the gullwing doors of the forward garage.
This 1200GT yacht is powered by twin MTU diesels, achieving a top speed of 16 knots. Sparta marks the fifth collaboration between Heesen and Arcon Yachts, making it a truly remarkable addition to the yachting world.
