During her recent 2023 refit, Starfire received a series of impressive upgrades and underwent essential maintenance tasks. The main engines were given a meticulous 12,000-hour service, while the stabilizers were expertly serviced for 8,000 hours. Notably, technical enhancements included the seamless integration of a new Thrane Iridium GMDSS Unit. Additionally, the anchor chain shackles were replaced, and the windlasses underwent a thorough overhaul, along with several other enhancements. It’s worth noting that a major refit was also successfully completed in 2019.As per IYC, the vessel “has a proven track record for success on the charter market, ready for future charters.” Starfire’s impressive track record includes successful voyages across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Ocean, as well as through the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Baltic, and Red Sea.
