Vripack has revealed an exhilarating first look at Project Supernova, a remarkable 60-meter explorer concept. Initially designed on the 54-meter “I Nova” hull, this superyacht can now be “stretched” to a magnificent 60 meters.

Prepare for an adventure like no other on the high seas!

Conversion plans include a six-meter extension, a redesigned bow, and a fully customized interior.
“With a solid design and engineering in place, it’s an exciting opportunity for an owner eager to dive in,” said a Vripack spokesperson.
Project Supernova will undoubtedly be commissioned by a young, adventurous owner, designed specifically for exploration. The owner’s wish list included thrilling activities like heli-skiing and diving in warm climates.
An adventurous owner, perhaps a seasoned helicopter pilot, experienced sailor, and no doubt a passionate diver, on the hunt for a yacht that matches his dynamic lifestyle.
Key requests will likely include a spacious beach club on the lower aft deck, complete with fold-down platforms for hanging hammocks while at anchor.
For the interior, the design brief may call surely for a “masculine” and “contemporary twist on classic American.” Inspired by a new owner’s architectural projects, Vripack are able to incorporate dark, moody wood panelling, bronze accents, soft leather, textured walls, and elegant oak furniture to create a sophisticated atmosphere or, adapt the entire feeling towards other stringent requirements

To embrace the idea of a “no door design,” the studio crafted a loft-style layout featuring drop-down balconies in the main saloon. Instead of traditional teak, the exterior decks showcase a synthetic, sustainable wood alternative.
Proposed accommodation features six cabins, including a spacious full-beam VIP on the main deck. The owner’s deck boasts an oval-shaped cabin with private access to both the forward and aft decks, outfitted with loungers and a firepit for ultimate relaxation.
Interior highlights include a charming “treasure cabinet” for the owner’s keepsakes, a sophisticated cigar lounge (a stylish alternative to a dedicated office), a striking hammered rock centre-piece, and a calf-skin topped bar in the main saloon. Each detail has been thoughtfully curated to enhance the luxurious experience on board.
One of the standout features of Project Supernova, as highlighted by Vripack, is its innovative double glass walkways. These transparent crew passages create a seamless view from the main saloon, blurring the line between the interior and the breathtaking ocean outside.
On the bridge deck aft, you’ll find a spacious helipad equipped with a robust A-frame designed for helicopter operations. It includes an integrated crane for launching a large submersible and tenders. Additionally, there’s ample room for two 12-meter containers to store essential expedition gear, from bikes and beach buggies to cars.
Get ready for Project Zero, a ground-breaking “zero fossil fuel” sailing yacht by Vripack. This highly-anticipated build promises to set new standards in sustainable yachting
