WALLY YACHTS
This stunning Bermuda-rigged sailing yacht, constructed from carbon fiber to RINA classification and MCA compliance, was delivered in 2007 by the renowned Wally Yachts. Designed by Germán Frers, known for his ability to fuse exceptional performance with sleek aesthetics and comfort, this yacht features contemporary interiors crafted by Wally’s in-house team. With meticulous maintenance and upgrades by her current owner, she is in pristine condition.
A comprehensive 2022 refit introduced numerous mechanical and technical enhancements, including new seacocks, class requirement updates, new running rigging, a PBO backstay, Vectran steering cable, and state-of-the-art B&G Zeus chartplotters. Her impressive Southern Spars carbon fiber mast received servicing in 2020, ensuring the integrity of her ECsix rigging fitted in 2016. The wardrobe of North Sails 3Di sails, introduced in 2017, allows WALLY LOVE to effortlessly achieve speeds of 12-16 knots.
The guest cockpit, located between the companionway and twin helm stations, is a family-friendly area, free from lines, allowing guests to enjoy sailing under the shelter of a sprayhood or dine at anchor beneath a removable awning.
An expansive foredeck offers ample options for relaxation and entertainment at anchor, easily accessible via wide sidedecks. Sunbathers can choose between the coachroof behind the helm stations or the lowered terrace on the sea, protected from the breeze. The transom lowers to create a swim platform with a hand shower, complemented by steps leading from the main deck into the water.
Forward of the terrace, a bank of glazing floods the saloon with light, accessible via exquisite carbon fiber steps. Skylights and hull ports enhance the brightness and provide excellent views for guests dining on the port side or lounging on the starboard.
The companionway leading from the guest cockpit descends to the lower deck guest accommodation. The owner’s suite features two oversized single beds that convert into a spacious king-sized double. Two twin cabins, each with an additional pullman berth, complete the layout, accommodating up to eight guests in three en suite cabins, alongside quarters for four crew members.
Her Frers heritage shines through in performance, both downwind and upwind, courtesy of her 4.9m (16.1ft) T keel. In calm conditions, her 325hp engine powers a folding Gori prop, providing a top speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising speed of 10.5 knots. WALLY LOVE comes equipped with a Novamarine 460 guest tender featuring a 40hp outboard, along with three SUPs and two SeaBobs stored in the toy locker.
